Well I have to start with the people at my job. I love the collection management room at the library. They prove to me that hard work and dedicatation can go hand and hand with joy, fun, caring and mutual support. When one of us needs help we pitch in to solve the problem. I am sure I have added years to my life because of all the laughter I have shared with my colleagues.

I have been working on felting projects. I’ve never felted before so this is an experience. I knitted 5 bowls. I got the pattern from the book, One Skein. Yesterday, I felted these bowls in the washing machine. I was totally amazed! I really needed to see it to believe it! My bowls look awesome. I should have taken before and after pictures. My mom who has been knitting for forever couldn’t understand the whole concept of felting. She is here visiting from Arizona and spent the day with me yesterday. So she also got to see the bowls before and after the washing machine. She was just as amazed as I was. I gave her a bowl to take back to Arizona. I can’t wait to do more felting.

was I actually had time to myself this morning.  The birds and Boots woke me up at 5 am with the birds singing and Boots trilling.  When I was moving around in bed Boots jumped on the bed and played with her pad.  She has a kitty pad that she likes to sneak under and pretend that we can’t see her.  She likes to pounce on all moving hands and feet.  We also got to play with her birdie.  She is so playful.  I had a chance to work on the crossword puzzle this morning while I had my coffee.  That is how I like to start my day!

I’m here at last.  There’s too much to remember to get everything started.  I actually told Vicky I was ready for a sledgehammer!  Right now, right this second, this is not one of my favorite things today!
